Primary school in Uganda

The school is in Katwe area of Kampala and offers education for children who come from poor families that otherwise might not have the opportunity to attend school and also children who many have lost one or both parents. The founders of the school are Paul and Joy Kinataama and there are 16 teachers in the school.

They started with only a few children by giving them a cup of porridge on Saturdays and teaching about 20 of them how to read and write outside, under a tree. Now, in that same area, there is a school building that offers places of study for up to 500 students on daily basis. Hope for Tomorrow supported the building project of the school and has been supporting the school since 2008.
